After almost being expelled from a prestigious Chicago music conservatory for a prank gone wrong, twenty-two-year-old pianist Crawford Paul returns home to Northern California for what he predicts will be another boring summer. #1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?

Absolutely. It is a very unconventional life, but it definitely is a career.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?

Without a doubt, finding the time to write is my biggest challenge.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?

I was very fortunate to be taught by some wonderful writers while I was in graduate school. They have definitely had a tremendous influence on my work.

#4 – What is next for your writing?

I’ve just finished the first draft of an erotic suspense thriller titled Star Dust Lullaby. I hope to have it turned in to my publisher soon. Next, I am starting work on the sequel to my novel Love in the Shadows.

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?

It’s true. I am addicted to reading. I just finished reading a terrific mystery by Jess Faraday titled Turnbull House.
